Prediction is a magic effect of the Mentalism genre. Prediction is done in many different ways. The magician – mentalist, either shows the prediction to the audience (Open Prediction), e.g. in an envelope or with a playing card turned upside down, or reveals it after the spectators’ choices (Closed Prediction), e.g. by taking it out of his wallet.
